Penetration-testing firm NetSPI's SDRs use UserGems' Gem-E agent to surface job-change and closed-lost-champion signals and draft outreach they review in Salesloft; UserGems credits the program with 71 meetings and $610K of pipeline in 4–5 months

L2 · Supervised Verified · Production Technology Sales

NetSPI's SDRs were manually hunting for security buyers across ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator. With UserGems, about 20 high-intent contacts a day (closed-lost champions who moved companies, promoted leaders, past champions and platform users who changed jobs) are routed from Salesforce into cadences. Gem-E then drafts tailored emails from account and contact signals plus first- and third-party data, and SDRs review, edit and send them from Salesloft through a Chrome extension, also using the drafts as call talk-tracks. UserGems reports that since going live in July 2025 the program booked 71 meetings, created 32 sales-qualified opportunities, and generated $610K in pipeline with $44K closed-won in 4–5 months, paying for itself in about five months, with SDRs calling 30 contacts instead of 300 (reported by UserGems; former Director of Sales Development Abby Orehosky quoted).

Problem

Manual prospecting across tools, no signals for prioritising hard-to-reach CISOs behind strict spam filters, and inconsistent outbound (reported by UserGems)

Workflow

  1. UserGems detects buying signals (job changes, promotions, closed-lost champions, platform users)
  2. About 20 prioritised contacts a day flow from Salesforce reports into SDR cadences
  3. Gem-E drafts a tailored email per contact from signals and enrichment data
  4. SDR reviews, edits and sends from Salesloft via the Chrome extension
  5. Managers review campaigns and outcomes in UserGems for coaching

Human-in-the-loop: SDRs review, tweak and approve every message before sending; managers coach from campaign data.
